„The most attractive feature in Laszlo Marton’s staging is making the balance between the playful visions and the poetic intimacy(...)One can learn good taste, slender proportion and style from the production(...) It is the philosophy of a beautiful theatre which dares to proclaim the inner program of the personality. Affection, friendship and love.”

„Laszlo Marton is an excellent master of musicals who is able to move in childhood fantasy ingeniuosly, while creating a new style. He is capable of involving the actors and the audience into the magic of playing.”

"200 performances of Padlás (The Attic), it is a quantity indeed. Means 3800 plumballs, and more than 200.000 people who came to see it. I am the common multiple of this impressive amount as I have seen the half tale-half musical of Presser and Dusán for 10-15 times at the Vígszínház. First I went to see it for my own pleasure. Then I took some friends with me. Then they also wanted to see it again. Later even less excuse was enough to go. There always was someone at home who was in the mood to visit 'The Attic'. So I regularly 'sneaked in'. During this four year period the wonderful auditorium manager seated me on possible seats. We saw it from the stairs, from the fireman's seat and from the director's box..."
